Summer 2025: English, activities and Cambridge English at ASB!

We are pleased to inform you that registration for the American School of Bilbao’s 2025 Summer Programme is now open. More than forty summers of English in Berango For more than forty summers, we have taught students from all over Bizkaia to become confident users of English for personal and professional purposes. Our summer programmes start from the age of four, focusing on play and communication, up to the Cambridge exams of B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency. Along the way, in our Middle and Upper Schools, we follow the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) so that each student understands their progress and what their goal is. Our students also enjoy a wide variety of fun activities, with total immersion in the language, within our spacious school facilities. They have the opportunity to play sports, cook, tend our vegetable garden, do arts and crafts, and much more. We also have our famous barbecue and Splash days! July program Our full July program runs from 1 July to 30 July, and the English course is designed specifically for this month. We also offer fortnightly options: the first fortnight is from 1 July to 15 July and the second fortnight is from 16 July to 30 July. August program Our full August program runs from 1 August to 29 August, and the English course is designed specifically for this month. We also offer fortnightly options: the first fortnight is from 1 August to 14 August and the second fortnight from 18 August to 29 August. Cambridge exam preparation classes in July We are proud of the success of our students who progress through our courses, starting at age four, and achieve excellent results in the official Cambridge exams. We offer a first-level exam preparation class for B2 First (PreFirst class) and C1 Advanced (PreAdvanced class), which form the basis for learning the skills to move on to the second level. The intensive second level exam preparation class for B2 First (First class) and C1 Advanced (Advanced class) will take the exam at the end of the month. The cost of the exam is included in the fee and we take care of all exam registration. We will offer level tests in May to our current students who may be interested in the exam preparation courses. School visits We encourage families to visit the school, see our facilities and ask questions.
