Student initiatives

Dear ASB parents,

We are four 11th grade students carrying out a student initiated project, which is a requirement for the diploma programme. It is a project that encourages students to engage with issues of global significance through creativity, activity and service. For our SIP, we are collaborating with Fidias, a foundation which aids kids with educational opportunities, by offering free tutoring classes and activities. Our aim is to contribute to the educational development and well being of children in need, by providing them with the school materials they need. Therefore, we ask you to help Fidias by making a donation to any of the following boxes which we will place in the space next to the school office (under the stairs) from the 10th to the 13th of June:

  • Books (preferably easy to read (ages 5 – 18))

  • Board games

  • School materials: colored cardboard, brushes, acrylic paint, watercolors, clay, glue, tags, masking/transparent tape, textile paints, glass markers

We, as well as the foundation, would really appreciate your donation, which would greatly help kids with educational assistance.

In case you have any questions you can contact us at: valentina.fernandez@asob.es, elvira.kirk@asob.es, carla.cabas@asob.es, julia.zarraga@asob.es

Thank you.

Hi everyone! We are three students from 5th grade and we are doing our Exhibition project about illegal immigration in Spain. Our “action” is with Cáritas and we would like to help them collect food, toys and clothes, so we would like to ask for your collaboration. There will be boxes in the 5th grade class and in the reception hall. Thanks everyone!
