Online Art Contest for Third and Fourth Grade

This year, third and fourth-grade students participated in an online art contest aimed at promoting awareness about environmental care.

Organized by Sergio Diez and Javier Belausteguigoitia (11th-grade students), the contest was divided into two categories: “The Tropical Jungle” (for grade 3) and “Endangered Animals” (for grade 4). The results are posted on this https://sites.google.com/asob.es/pyp-online-art-exhibition

(The website is available in both English and Spanish to ensure all parents can understand the contest).
Two winners have been crowned (one from each category). In grade 3, Mia won with her marvelous butterfly, and in grade 4, Juana won with an excellent watercolor painting of a sea turtle. Additionally, Zi Han, a fourth-grade student, received an honorable mention for her excellent drawing of a red fox. Congratulations to all three of you, you have incredible talent! For Sergio and Javier, this experience has been amazing. According to Sergio, “We have really enjoyed working with the elementary students, and we are very proud of all the students who helped us make our website possible! We have also made many friends in this class, and now we greet the third and fourth-grade students every day.”

The duo also wants to thank the teachers who made this project possible. According to Javier, “We would like to express our gratitude for the collaboration of Zeynep Dincer (Elementary Coordinator), Jasmine Zugarramurdi (third-grade teacher), and Borja de Arana (fourth-grade teacher and lower school principal). They have helped us organize this project from the beginning and have been highly involved in the success of our website.”
