Message from the Director
Spring is in the air and everyone is ready for a break! Here are the latest updates.
It is sometimes hard to believe that we have been dealing with this pandemic for two years now and it finally appears that things may be returning to the norm as we knew it. When we return from the break, wearing masks in Bizkaia will no longer be a requirement. We have to wait for the official announcement on April 19. If approved, students will return to school on Monday, April 25th, mask wearing will be optional.
We understand that there are different opinions, or reasons, when it comes to masking, yet we must respect the personal choices of others. Some families may have household members who are more vulnerable and will continue to take measures to protect their loved ones.
Also, upon our return, DP2 Students (12th graders) will begin examinations. This culmination of two years of hard work will hopefully result in students gaining access to the universities of their choice. We wish them the best of luck!
Mid-Term reports for grades 6-11 will be sent home on May 6th and later that week students from grades 6-10 will take their spring MAP exams. This will provide us with data on your child’s growth and achievement level this year. If you have any questions about Mid-Term reports or the MAP results, please contact your child’s teacher.
On behalf of everyone at ASB we want to wish you and your family a Happy Easter and a well-deserved rest. See you in a few weeks.
