Dear Parents,

As we reflect on the Thanksgiving week that just passed, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful community we have at the American School.

Thanksgiving holds a special place in the hearts of many Americans as a time to come together with family and friends, expressing gratitude for the blessings in our lives. Personally, I am incredibly thankful to be working at the American School, surrounded by a fantastic teaching faculty and supportive parents. The collaborative spirit and dedication to education within our community make each day truly rewarding.

This week, our school continued the spirit of togetherness with an exciting Spirit Week celebration. It was heartening to see the upper school students enthusiastically participating, dressing up each day according to a specific theme. Their vibrant displays of school pride truly added to the positive atmosphere within the school.

Looking ahead, I am excited to share that next Tuesday will feature the Extended Essay Presentation by our 12th graders. The Extended Essay is a remarkable 4000-word research paper that showcases the depth of knowledge and skills our students possess. It is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and intellectual prowess. They will each have to give a power point presentation to their peers about their research.

As we approach the upcoming long weekend, I would like to wish those planning to travel a safe and pleasant journey. Whether you are spending time with loved ones or taking a well-deserved break, I hope the time away is both enjoyable and rejuvenating.

Once again, thank you for contributing to the vibrant and supportive community we have at the American School.

Regards,
