Message from the Director
Dear Parents,
Our first long weekend is just around the corner, and it looks like the government is easing restrictions throughout the region. Today we have received the new protocol from the government and will investigate how the new regulations will impact our school. Regardless, we will remain diligent in maintaining the safety of our students and staff. We have had a great start of the year and would like to keep the momentum going.
Here are a few program updates of note:
- 12th grade midterm reports have been distributed this week with the rest of upper school to follow at the end of next week. We believe that we must all work together with your children in order to assist them in progressing and reaching their goals.
- MAP exams will conclude today, with the make-up exams for students who missed the first round, and reports will be available to you and students next week. Do take the time to review your child’s progress and don´t hesitate to contact your teacher or coordinator if you have any concerns. We will be studying the data of every class to inform instructional decisions ahead.
- This month is Breast Cancer Awareness. We will commemorate it by wearing pink on Fridays. Almost everyone has been affected by cancer in some way or another. I would like to acknowledge all members in our community who have been affected as well, I feel your loss. One of our colleagues passed away this past summer from this disease and I would like to remember her and her contributions to our school. In addition, this month marks the 20th anniversary of my father´s passing due to cancer. He is always in my thoughts.
Please take the time this long weekend to relax and enjoy time with your friends and family. See you on Wednesday.
Regards,
Rafael Trinidad
Director
