Message from the Director

Dear Parents,

What a week we´ve had with strong winds, rain and even hail!!  It appeared the weather was worse during the morning drop off and the afternoon dismissal.   Yet here we are still going strong as we reach the hallway point of the year.  Yes, we are hallway through the year already and the countdown for summer plans and vacation begins. We would like to take this time to reflect on the accomplishments of the first half of the year.

During the first half of the year your child(ren) has made significant progress in their academic studies. They have developed their reading, writing and math skills, and have gained a deeper understanding of the subjects they are studying.  Additionally, they have been actively participating in class discussions, group projects, individual assignments, and preparation in their respective clubs.

Some of the highlights thus far:

  • Preliminary visit from CIS/NEASC with many commendations
  • Successful University applications and acceptances to date
  • Strong student effort in new split classes in 9th and 10th grades
  • Return of the Halloween Party

Furthermore, we have also focused in building a positive and inclusive classroom environment, where all students feel respected, valued, and supported. To that end, we have developed a well-being policy for our school to ensure that we comply in providing a safe and supportive environment in which students can learn and grow with their confidence and self-esteem, which is important for long-term success.

We would like to thank you for your support and partnership throughout this first half of the year. As we move into the second half, we look forward to continue to work together to help your child(ren) reach their full potential.

As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Regards,

Rafael Trinidad
