Grade 5 PYP Exhibition

Grade 5 PYP Exhibition

A massive congratulations to Grade 5 students on their outstanding PYP Exhibition. Grade 5 students have been working tirelessly on their PYP Exhibition for the last seven weeks. They were inquiring into their passions and issues, which have a local and global focus under the transdisciplinary theme of “Sharing our Planet.”

The Exhibition is one of the key elements of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. It is an authentic opportunity for students to showcase the knowledge and skills they learned in the PYP. The students explored real-life issues they are passionate about, engaged in collaborative work, researched to find information and solutions to the problem, took action and shared their findings with the ASB community.

The Grade 5 students presented their learning on nine major global challenges including Marine Pollution, Deforestation, World Hunger, Dangers of Social Media, Cyberbullying, Animals in Captivity, Racism in Professional Sports, Melting of Glaciers and Animals in Entertainment.

We’re extremely proud of all the hard work, commitment and creativity we’ve seen the students place into exploring and researching their chosen issue or passion over the last seven weeks. We thank the entire community for their support and involvement along the way.
