This Friday, November 26th, we are celebrating an important milestone in the Seniors path to graduation: The completion of the Extended Essay. 

The Extended Essay (or EE) is a 4,000 word research paper that the Diploma Programme students work on with the guidance of a supervisor in DP1 and part of DP2. The process equips students with the necessary tools to be prepared to conduct research at an academic level and improve their academic writing. Moreover, it helps develop self management, lifelong learning and reflective skills in the process. 

On Friday, November 26, students will dress formally and present their “EEs” to Extended Essay Coordinator, Ms. Nina Franco, and will receive an EE token that has become a tradition at the Diploma Programme: The almighty EE cup! 

We will be streaming the presentations for parents and the ASB community to be able to witness their growth and interesting discoveries. We will share the links and schedule next week.
